So, as you guys may know we've been busy fixing some issues within the group. The most important, though, will be this one, addressing some changes in the importing method.
Rather than all year, imports will be available twice a year: the Winter Imports, open throughout all the month of December, and the Summer Imports, open on June. All orders sent out of season will be either deleted or ignored.
Each admin has been given a max. of 10 Group imports + 3 Troubadours a year. That makes a total of 110 Group imports and 33 troubadours.
Keep an eye on group imports, stable sales and auctions! They will be available throughout all of the year, as well as some special foals to celebrate different holidays.

Hey everybody! sorry for another update so soon!
But I've declided that there needs to be an organized way of listing the parentage of EB's. This will make it MUCH easier for breeding admins to check if a horse is related to the other, and for you as well to do the same thing.
We all know this thing, right?:
I KNOW. It's intimidating! But it's quite easy when you know what it means.
S stands for Sire.
D stands for Dam.
So, how many S's and D's you have lets you know which horse it's talking about.
So, if you have SS, that's the sire's sire.So the Sire of your foal's Sire, or grandpa.
SDS Is the Sire's Dam's Sire, or the sire of your foal's grandmother.
And then you get into crazy things like SSDSDS which is the sire's sire's dam's sire's dam's sire.
But I haven't seen an EB with a lineage that long, so it's okay.
If you don't want to use that thing, use this!

Quick note: Please remember to put ID numbers in front of the name in the title of your horse's reference. please also remember to do it in EXACTLY this format: F-000. Not F - 000 or F- 0 0 0 or F - 0 0 0. I know that for me, when I look for a horse's reference, I go to the search bar and type 'F-000'. This brings up both the Design Sheet and reference of the horse, if drawn, and if the ID number is in that form.

I been noticing that some of our members are either missing or not correctly following the designs regards the Desert Eb markings. I know sometimes when we design we may forget a few here or there but please remember to check one last time before you submit them to the group, as it will help us get your foals register much faster and and less hassle on both for you and for the admins.
Remember to link the breeding note and both sire and dam link in your description too!

Also you may have notice it has been a bit slow for the past few days to get your stuff into the group, please bare with us as our admins are having to deal with RL issues at the moment and won't be on as much as we usually are!

Just a friendly reminder: if you have an unanswered breeding note in the works, please do not send another note until the first note is answered.
Please do not draw your EB until the foal design is accepted into the group. If there are changes that need to be made before the design can be accepted, all of your artwork will be invalidated, so it's best to wait.
Also, we're doing a major overhaul of the breeding system soon. Please bear with us while we get everything done.

Change In Pricing for Imports/Customs

Hello everyone!
We administrators have been talking extensively about this subject, and we've come to a conclusion. Import and Custom prices will vary depending on which designer you choose. This means that designers will now be able to pick their own prices for their work.
Now, I realize this may be a slightly unpopular opinion since it means some prices will sureley rise. But just remember that we take a LOT of time and care for these designs, and some of them just are worth more than $3/300 points and so on.
We hope you all can understand, and thank you all for being such an awesome community!

A Few Breeding/ID Alterations
March 9th - 2014 - By pony-bones
In order to streamline everything, there are two changes going to be made to how foal designs are accepted, and how you get IDs.
• When you post a foal design, LINK to the note url in the artist comments, so we can access it quickly in the case of any mistakes. Any submitted foals without this link will not be accepted, until the link is present.
• When you send a breeding note, include the amount of foals you intend to breed between the two. REMEMBER - twins are rare, but if you breed the same parents twice, you can use the same genotypes/phenotypes that an administrator gives you.
You will get an ID for the number of foals you put in.
So if you are saying you are breeding for two foals, the administrator will give you two open IDs then and there, and a notation will be put down in the journal. You then hold on to that ID for a month before it is taken away. Meaning you have a month to get some sort of design submitted.
If you have horses without IDs so far, then continue to link them on the ID journal, but all breedings from this point on will go in this way.

Hey there guys. As you can see, the staff and I have decided to introduce this new 'function' with the purpose of transmitting changes and whatnot in an easier way to you. Please keep track of this, since most of the important stuff will be posted here!
For now, don't forget to check our Rulebook, as well as remembering the following changes:
The traits system has been removed from CUSTOM orders. Imports keep it.
Dominant Whites, as well as Pitch Blacks aren't allowed for ordering. Only available if you choose to have a pattern/mutation to go along with it, having its Rarity lowered from +10 to +2.

We do not check the activity of already drawn/reffed Eb's, Just those who are still a Import/custom sheet or a Design Holder.
You can throw up a Temp Ref (headshot minimum) and that will be perfect.
We are only checking the Design Holders that are over a month old.
Breeding notes that are over a month old.
As well as Import/Custom sheets that are over the time frame listed on the sheet (some vary in designers, thats why)
AFTER all of this has been completed - we will be hosting a sale barn again for those unwanted or abandoned EB's
So breeding notes may be slow while we try to update everything.
