Greetings, ballators. Enharmonia here.

As you may know, as of late, the group has been experiencing a terrible slow down. I wont' deny it- we admins are having a hard time figuring things out when 80% of our power is away because of personal reasons- me included.

We're currently dealing with a huge inbox/backlog problem inside the group. You might have noticed that the galleries are closed to submissions for now.

In other words, we will no longer accept certain deviations nor notes into the group, at least for some weeks or, in the worst case, months. We've been forced to stop activity for a while in order to deal with all the queue and inbox, which are getting rather messy- new submissions get mingled with old ones, which are re-submitted LOTS of times because of expirations and further harden our task; and as far as notes are concerned, our current rhythm is making the inbox clustered with unread notes to a limit that would tire off the most sturdy of ballators.

But what am I allowed to submit or send, and what I am not?

We will NOT accept these for now:

· Foal designs
· Reference Sheets (Your horse will not be affected by time limits until the group is open again)
· Breeding notes
· ID related notes

But these are still allowed to go in, since they are the quickest to sort out:

· EB Art
· Competition entries
· Advertisements
· Breeding pictures (restricted to the pictures ONLY! you can send it in, but not the resulting foal).
· Ownership Transfers
· Other notes


Remember, any non-accepted submissions/notes that are sent regardless of the closing will be either DELETED or IGNORED.







On to the next issue. In order to fix this problem, we have decided to create a new admin team specifically for this task- sorting out deviations in the inbox. These would be the Inbox admins, of course!

What does an Inbox Admin do?

· Classify and correct misplaced deviations
· Check foal designs for any possible phenotype mistakes
· Correct any lack of information on references
· Be in charge of accepting submissions in general

We are looking to hire THREE users, one of which would be considered the 'head' of the team. However, these users must have...

· Knowledge of horse genetics (!)
· Organization
· Willingness to participate, ask for help if needed, alert us about potential problems, and be helpful to members
· Most of all, BE ACTIVE! Our main problem here is the big admins' inability to be so
